My family and I came to Costa Rica with a dream to build our own home and slowly relocate here. Honestly, we expected the paperwork to be long and complicated. But it turned out completely different. Then they submitted the application and what was really important for us, they didn’t just “submit and disappear.” They actually managed the process. They were always available. If we had questions — they answered quickly. If something needed attention — they told us in advance. At no point did we feel lost in the system.
The most surprising part — we received our residency before we even finished building the house.
To be honest, from what we’ve heard from many friends in the area, without this kind of support we would definitely have spent more time, more nerves, and probably made mistakes. But this way, everything went smooth and clear.
